RAMONA, Calif. -

Lanes on west state Route 78 near Ransom Hill Lane in Ramona were reopened Wednesday after a disabled big rig leaked fuel, causing a blockage in the area.

The incident was reported at 4:21 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP dispatchers said a hazmat crew was called to clean up the leak from the tanker, which was holding 75 to 100 gallons of fuel.

Workers estimated that it would take up to one hour to clear the area.

No injuries were immediately reported.
