SAN DIEGO - Light showers will be moving into San Diego County early Monday morning.

10News rain futurecast shows very light showers over us from 7am to 2pm Monday.

Strong gusty winds are also expected to develop in San Diego County's mountains and deserts Sunday night according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters expected western winds to build tonight to between 20 and 30 mph with gusts of up to 50 mph. The strongest winds are expected Monday morning near mountain ridge tops, along desert slopes and in adjacent areas.

A wind advisory was set to go into effect at midnight and extend to 4 p.m. Monday.

Blowing sand and dust in the deserts could reduce visibility and make driving difficult, especially for motorists in high profile vehicles, according to the Weather Service.
