3 Vehicles Involved In Accident In Pala

All lanes of southbound I-15 were re-opened after they were shut down just south of state Route 76 following a 3-vehicle accident in the East County on Friday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Only minor injuries were reported in the crash, the CHP said.

A Sig Alert that was issued shortly before 6:30 a.m. for the incident in Pala, was canceled at 7:11 a.m.

Before the lanes re-opened traffic in the area was being diverted to Old Highway 395.

Initially four vehicles were reported to be involved in the incident but that number was later revised by the CHP.
