SAN DIEGO - Students are returning to school Thursday after a teenager was detained for making online threats.
San Diego Police Department said a 17-year-old boy is in custody after he allegedly made a death threat against his teacher at Charter School San Diego in Point Loma.
The teenager also allegedly posted a threat on Facebook in March, indicating he would open fire at Marston Middle School in Clairemont where his sister attends.
SDPD said the teenager remains in Juvenile Hall as it investigates the case. School officials also said they are investigating the alleged threats.
