Kids back in school after online threats surface

SAN DIEGO - Students are returning to school Thursday after a teenager was detained for making online threats.

San Diego Police Department said a 17-year-old boy is in custody after he allegedly made a death threat against his teacher at Charter School San Diego in Point Loma.

The teenager also allegedly posted a threat on Facebook in March, indicating he would open fire at Marston Middle School in Clairemont where his sister attends.
