Nearly 2,000 janitors will gather in downtown San Diego Thursday at noon to demand raises and health benefits.

The janitors and hundreds of other union members will rally and march for better pay and benefits, saying if they don’t get a decent contract by Saturday they will go on strike, reported 10News.

Janitors in Los Angeles County, Orange County and Northern California have been given raises and health care.
