DEL MAR, Calif. (KGTV) -- The Del Mar International Horse Show is hosting the World Cup this weekend as a part of a three-week event. International horses and riders will compete for $100,000.
The Del Mar Horse Park is hosting the event that kicks off Saturday morning and continues through Sunday afternoon.
Elite horse and riders will compete, performing world-class jumps.
Before the main event, a dog and pony duo will perform for the crowd. Dally and Spanky are known for their tricks and jump. Their owner rescued both of them and before long they were best friends, Dally riding on Spanky's back.
The World Cup is open for the whole family. Admission is $20 per car entering the event.
