Police announced the arrest of a 67-year-old San Diego man suspected of killing his wife earlier this year, a police lieutenant said.

Henry Lisowski was arrested at his home on West Point Loma Boulevard about 6 p.m. Friday on the heels of a more than 5-month-long investigation into the disappearance of his wife, Rosa Lisowski, San Diego police Lt. Terry McManus said.

The 50-year-old woman was last seen on March 24 when she was walking her child to school at 2930 Barnard St., he said.

On Friday, homicide detectives developed probable cause to believe that the Rosa's husband was responsible for her death and brought him in for questioning, eventually booking him on suspicion of murder, McManus said.
