SAN DIEGO - An investigation was under way Tuesday into a hit-and-run accident in Rolando, where a 29-year-old man was struck and injured.
The man was hit by a silver Toyota-type vehicle while attempting to cross the 6400 block of El Cajon Boulevard just before midnight, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.
The driver turned around and looked at the man before speeding away east on El Cajon Boulevard, the officer said in a statement.
The man suffered a leg fracture, he said.
