A high-speed pursuit of a group suspected of trying to burglarize a marijuana dispensary ended with two arrests early Wednesday morning, but police are still searching for the remaining suspects.

The incident began at around 2 a.m. at a dispensary on Camino del Rio South, near Interstate 15 in Mission Valley, according to San Diego police.

Police said three people used a crowbar to gain entry, but a security guard spotted them. As the group got away in a blue car, the guard fired at least one shot at them.

Officers responded, and a high-speed chase ensued on the streets near San Diego State University. The pursuit ended in a parking lot off Lindo Paseo, where the suspected burglars ditched the car and ran.

Officers cornered two teens near fraternity houses off Montezuma Road and arrested them.

Police have not apprehended the two others involved.

It is unknown if the group took anything from the dispensary.
