A man is in jail for leading police on a two mile high-speed chase through southeast San Diego.

The incident began at Market Street and Euclid Avenue early Monday morning when a San Diego Police officer tried to pull over a speeding car.The driver refused to pull over and, instead, speeded up and went faster.The chase ended on Market near 36th Street when the car crashed.The hood of the car flew up into the windshield and the four men inside ran off, apparently unhurt.After a brief foot chase, police captured the man they say was the driver.
