EL CAJON, Calif. - A man used a demand note to hold up a bank branch in El Cajon, and the FBI and police sought the public's help Saturday held to identify the robber.
The robber received an undisclosed amount from a teller at the U.S. Bank at 490 Fletcher Parkway at about 2:30 p.m. Friday after he handed over the demand note, according to FBI Special Agent Darrell Foxworth.
The robber then left the bank, got into the passenger seat of a silver or gray Cadillac and was driven away, Foxworth said. No description was made of the getaway driver.
The robber was described as a white man who was about 30 years old. He was between 5 feet 5 inches tall and 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed about 160 pounds. He had a tattooed neck and was wearing a light colored zip-up hooded jacket with a design with a dark t-shirt underneath, sunglasses, a red baseball cap and dark pants.
