LAKESIDE, Calif. (KGTV) - A head-on collision left traffic at a standstill in the East County Tuesday.
The two-car crash occurred at Wildcat Canyon Road at Willow Road just after 3 p.m.
According to the CHP, emergency services took one patient to Sharp Memorial Hospital. The severity of any injuries was not immediately clear.
The crash also knocked down a power pole. CHP officers notified San Diego Gas and Electric about the problem.
All lanes were blocked until further notice as of 3:50 p.m.
