For one day only, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a name and color change to their Original Glazed Doughnut.
According to a press release from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, “Name change is first in brand’s history; green doughnut will be available March 17.”

Jackie Woodward, Chief Marketing Officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts stated in a press release:
“St. Patrick’s Day is the perfect occasion to change the color of the Original Glazed…What’s even rarer – like finding a four-leaf clover – is altering the name of such an iconic product. We’ve never done it. But in this instance, it’s fun and joyful, just like the holiday.”

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is inviting people to pick up a dozen of their St. Patrick’s Day themed doughnuts and tagging them on social media with #GreenDoughnuts.
