El Cajon police looking into allegations of inappropriate behavior by Granite Hills HS teacher

EL CAJON, Calif. - Police are investigating a Granite Hills High School teacher amid allegations of inappropriate behavior with at least one student.

About three weeks ago, El Cajon police were made aware of allegations that an unidentified teacher engaged in inappropriate behavior with at least one student.

Police are conducting an investigation into the inappropriate behavior allegations, which were said to have happened last school year. Police said the teacher has not been arrested.

Police declined to release more details into the allegations or their investigation.

According to police, the teacher is not currently working at the school. Grossmont Union High School District officials said the teacher has been on administrative leave since Jan. 31.
