Government offices closed in observance of Labor Day

SAN DIEGO - Most government offices are scheduled to be closed Monday in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
Some exceptions include the Miramar Landfill, which will be open with regular hours of 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and city of San Diego municipal golf courses, which will charge holiday rates.
City of San Diego pools will be open from noon to 4 p.m., but recreation centers and libraries will be closed.
Parking meters will not be enforced and trash pickup will be delayed one day this week..
Balboa Park museums that normally operate on Mondays will be open.
County of San Diego parks, campgrounds, and neighborhood day-use parks will be open during normal business hours.
Both the Metropolitan Transit System in San Diego and the North County Transit District plan to run their buses, trolleys and trains on Sunday schedules.
The NCTD will offer four southbound and four northbound Coaster trains today, instead of the usual 10 each way.
