The San Diego Association of Realtors will hold a golf tournament Friday to help local police officers buy a house.

The 5th annual Everyday Heroes Golf Tournament will help to make home ownership more affordable for officers by providing interest rate buy-downs for qualified officers.According to the associations website, the Ambassadors Foundation was created by SDAR with the goal of assisting San Diego Police Department officers to become homeowners, providing them and their families a better quality of life as they become vested in home ownership and their surrounding communities.The tournament tees off at 1 p.m. at the Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
