Glass doors smashed at National City liquor store; store owner says intruder targeted cigarettes

NATIONAL CITY, Calif. - Authorities are investigating a break-in at a National City liquor store early Thursday morning.

The National City Police Department said at 1:45 a.m. a burglar alarm went off at One Ten Market and Liquor at 110 National City Blvd.

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that the glass front door of the business had been smashed out.

Officers searched the business and the surrounding area with a K-9 unit, but the intruders were not located.

The store's owner said it appears that only cigarettes were taken.
