SAN DIEGO - A 12-year-old girl is safe Tuesday after firefighters had to use a ladder truck to get her down from a tree in Scripps Ranch.
The incident happened at around 6 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Fairbrook Road and Camanito Magnifica
According to initial reports, the girl climbed about 40 feet up a tree after a fight with her parents and got stuck.
She was there for two hours and her family called 911.
One firefighter who responded to the scene scaled the tree and used a strap to help get the girl down.
The girl was uninjured.
