SAN DIEGO - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline is up 1.5 cents in San Diego to $4.18, the highest amount since October of last year.
The average price is 9 cents more than one week ago and 52 cents higher than one month ago.
Analysts say gas prices have gone up 17 days in a row in San Diego.
The increases are the result of reduced supplies due to refinery maintenance, according to Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
