SAN DIEGO - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County has gone down for the 44th day in a row.
The price fell three-tenths of a cent to $3.80 overnight. That's the lowest it's been since July 24.
The average price has dropped 93 cents over the past 44 days.
We're paying 5 cents less than one week ago and 65 cents lower than one month ago.
That's good news for Thanksgiving holiday travelers. About 3.3 million Southland residents are taking vacations this week, about 87 percent of them by car, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California.
