SAN DIEGO - The average price of a gallon of gasoline in San Diego is at its highest level since October 25th.

A gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose 1.4 cents today, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California and Oil Information Service. The average price is 11 cents more than one week ago, 56 cents higher than one month ago and 21 cents more than one year ago.

The price increases are the result of reduced supplies caused by low levels of production in Southern California stemming from refinery maintenance, according to Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
