SAN DIEGO - A pickup truck caught fire along a busy freeway in City Heights Tuesday.
Emergency crews were called to a scene of a vehicle fire on the University Avenue offramp from northbound Interstate 15 at around 1 a.m.
Firefighters arrived to find a Ford pickup truck fully engulfed by flames. Crews were able to knock down the fire within minutes.
The California Highway Patrol said that the driver was not hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
