Firefighters knock down house fire in Lakeside

LAKESIDE, Calif. - Firefighters worked to extinguish a house fire in Lakeside on Tuesday, fire officials said.
The residents of the home in the 13000 Lakeview Grenada Drive were outside when fire crews arrived shortly before 4:30 p.m., a Heartland Fire and Rescue Department dispatcher said. No injuries were reported, she said.
Firefighters had the blaze knocked down in about 22 minutes, the dispatcher said.
Fire crews remained on scene as of about 5 p.m., the dispatcher said
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
Sheriff's department personnel stopped traffic on Lakeview Grenada Drive, sheriff's Lt. Scott Amos said.
