SAN DIEGO - Some San Marcos residents are dealing with more than $50,000 in fire sprinkler damage Wednesday morning.
10News has learned that an oven in one of the apartments burst into flames overnight, which set off the sprinklers that drenched at least three floors of the complex.
The fire was put out, but three units at the Copper Creek apartments off Elfin Forest Road suffered significant water damage.
San Diego firefighters were seen pushing water out the front door of one of the units when 10News crews arrived.
