SAN DIEGO - A fire reported at a home in Mission Hills has been knocked down.
The fire was reported just after 10 p.m. at a two-story house that is under construction in the 4400 block of Ampudia Street. It was knocked down at about 10:34 p.m.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
San Diego police are also investigating because witnesses reported seeing someone running from the area. The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department's Metro Arson Strike Team was also called to the scene.
Neighbors say the home had been under construction for the past year.
