LEUCADIA, Calif. - Investigators are looking Tuesday into a fire that badly damaged a home in Leucadia.
Officials said the fire broke out in the 700 block of Neptune Avenue at around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
Firefighters had to deal with heavy smoke spilling out of the home.
10News learned that the house is a duplex and a man was renting one of the levels. He made it out of the building.
A neighbor, who went inside to check on the resident, was treated for smoke inhalation.
