SAN DIEGO - A woman was rescued from a car wreck early Friday after a crash on north Interstate 5 near Washington Street.
The crash occurred at 2:15 a.m. and involved a Dodge Intrepid.
Initial reports indicate that the driver lost control of the vehicle, hitting the center divide and bouncing across lanes. The car eventually slammed into a guardrail.
Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to get the trapped woman out of the wreck.
Several drivers also stopped to help. 10News learned that the driver's injuries were not serious.
