Student robbed at gunpoint by 3 men near San Diego State University: SDSU police investigating

SAN DIEGO - Authorities were on the lookout Thursday for three young men who robbed a female student at gunpoint near San Diego State University.

The men robbed the woman in the 5200 block of East Falls View Drive about 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to SDSU police. They took her backpack, cell phone and wallet, but left her unharmed, according to a police statement.

University police said the three robbers were between 20 and 25 and were last seen fleeing in a vehicle.

Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
