FBI and San Diego Sheriff's Department need your help to identify El Cajon bank robber

El Cajon, Calif. - The FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male who robbed the US Bank, 2910 Jamacha Road, El Cajon, California, on Friday, September 21, 2012.

On Friday, September 21, 2012, the US Bank, located at 2910 Jamacha Road, El Cajon, California, was robbed by an unknown male. 

At the time of the robbery, a man entered the bank and walked directly to the teller station. 

The robber showed the teller a hand written demand note that indicated he had a gun. 

The teller placed the money inside of a white envelope and the man ran out of the bank.

Witnesses describe the robber as a black male in his mid 20’s approximately 5’6” with dark brown or black hair with braids.

He was last seen wearing a gray ball cap, a light colored long sleeve plaid shirt and khaki colored pants.

Witnesses say he was driving a small, white car.Anyone with information concerning this robbery is asked to contact the FBI at telephone number (858) 565-1255 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
