CLEVELAND - Amanda Berry has returned her Cleveland home on West 129th Street in Cleveland Wednesday morning, 10News Scripps sister station WEWS-TV reported.
She has decided not to speak to the public.
First District Commander Thomas McCartney laid out parameters for Berry's return.
“We don’t want a carnival atmosphere,” McCartney said, asking media to stay on the sidewalk across the street and remain off of the family's property.
McCartney said to respect her wishes.
“Hope’s alive today and our dreams have been answered,” McCartney said.
