Fair Concert Lineup Full Of Classic Rock Shows
Concerts Begin June 12 With Grammy-Winning Band Asleep At The Wheel

The lineup announced Wednesday for the Paddock Concert Series at the San Diego County Fair is full of shows for classic rock fans.

The concerts begin June 12 with nine-time Grammy-winning band Asleep at the Wheel and conclude July 4 with DSB, a Journey tribute band.Other classic rock acts include: -- Traffic co-founder Dave Mason, June 13; -- psychedelic sound pioneers Vanilla Fudge, June 20; -- Eric Burdon & The Animals, June 21; and -- Jim Messina, a founding member of Buffalo Springfield, Poco and Loggins & Messina, June 28.Interspersed among them are tribute bands to Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson, the Blues Brothers, the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd. The latter includes a laser light show.Also appearing are John Tesh on June 14 and ex-Allman Brothers guitarist Dickey Betts on July 2.This year's fair opens on June 8.Copyright
