EL CAJON, Calif. - 10News spoke to Kassim Alhimidi, the man accused of killing his wife in their El Cajon home.

Alhimidi, 48, was arrested on Nov. 8, and he faces a murder charge in connection with the March death of his 32-year-old wife, Shaima Alawadi.

In an interview from San Diego Central Jail, Alhimidi told 10News reporter Preston Phillips, "I'm not guilty," and that he was not in the house when his wife was viciously beaten.
