An early morning brush fire kept crews busy Monday.

The fire broke out around 3 a.m. near Financial Court and Morena Boulevard.When firefighters arrived, they found the fire had burned about a quarter of an acre.Because the fire was burning on a hillside, crews had to work their way up the hill to fight the flames.Firefighters were able to knock out the blaze but not before flames had spread to half an acre.Investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
