Crash Occurred At 26th, Market Streets; Police Seeking Blue Ford F-150 With Front-End Damage

The driver of a blue Ford F-150 with front end damage was sought in connection with a hit-and-run crash in Grant Hill on Friday that left a 75-year-old pedestrian with a broken arm and facial injuries, police said.

The woman was in a crosswalk at 26th and Market streets shortly before 10 a.m. when she was struck, San Diego police Sgt. Ray Battrick said.

Witnesses told police the driver of the westbound blue Ford F-150 pickup crashed into the woman, pulled over briefly to check on her then sped away, Battrick said.

The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The driver was described as a heavy white or Hispanic man in his mid 40s who was about 5 feet 4 and was wearing a white T-shirt.
