The driver of a blue Ford F-150 with front end damage was sought in connection with a hit-and-run crash in Grant Hill on Friday that left a 75-year-old pedestrian with a broken arm and facial injuries, police said.

The woman was in a crosswalk at 26th and Market streets shortly before 10 a.m. when she was struck, San Diego police Sgt. Ray Battrick said.Witnesses told police the driver of the westbound blue Ford F-150 pickup crashed into the woman, pulled over briefly to check on her then sped away, Battrick said.The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.The driver was described as a heavy white or Hispanic man in his mid 40s who was about 5 feet 4 and was wearing a white T-shirt.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
