SAN DIEGO - Authorities said a driver crashed into a parked vehicle in Hillcrest Friday night and rolled his SUV.
The San Diego Police Department said the wreck occurred at about 7:30 p.m.in the 1000 block of Essex Street.
Officers said the driver was traveling westbound when his SUV veered to the right and struck the rear end of a Toyota FJ Cruiser. The SUV then flipped over on its side.
Police and paramedics responded to the scene and the driver was transported to Scripps Mercy Hospital.
There were no other injuries.
The street was closed for about an hour while crews worked to clean up debris from the crash.
Officers said they are investigating to determine if alcohol was a factor in the wreck.
