Hundreds brave the cold for deals on flat screen televisions at new 99 Cent Only store in Escondido

ESCONDIDO, Calif. - Hundreds braved the cold early Thursday and lined up at a 99 Cent Only store in Escondido in an attempt to score flat-screen televisions for 99 cents.
The deal was part of the store's grand opening event at its newest location in the 2000 block of East Valley Parkway.
The first nine customers in line were allowed to purchase one flat-screen TV for the special price. In addition, the next 99 customers were able to purchase scooters for 99 cents.
10News learned that some customers were in line since Tuesday.
The store opened at 8 a.m. and had plans to hold other sales during its grand opening week.
