SAN DIEGO - Authorities said someone broke into a North Park smoke shop Monday morning, leaving behind a mess for the owner.
The San Diego Police Department said the incident occurred at around 3:22 a.m. at the SD Smoke Shop on the 3100 block of El Cajon Boulevard.
According to officers, someone smashed-in the glass front door of the business, which triggered a burglar alarm.
When police arrived, they found the glass door shattered and said a glass pipe inside was taken.
Investigators say a check-cashing store next door to the smoke shop has surveillance cameras outside. They hope a review of the video will help them identify who entered the store.
