The fund was set up for an eight year old, Azalia Duran, who was stabbed 26 times last week in a brutal San Marcos attack along with her mother, Antonia Duran who was stabbed to death. Azalia remains in a medically-induced coma at Rady Children's Hospital.

An account has been set up for Azalia's recovery, as well as a trust fund for all three of Antonia’s children.

Also, Cal Community Bank in Vista is collecting gifts for Christmas for Azalia, so she can receive them all when she wakes up.
