Fallbrook, Calif. - A woman was killed Sunday in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 76 near unincorporated Pala Mesa in Fallbrook according to the California Highway Patrol.
State Route 76 was closed in both directions east of Oceanside.
CHP officers say a Ford F-150 and a Ford Focus crashed about 3:25 p.m. on the state highway east of Monserate Hill Road.
Three ambulances were dispatched to the scene, although it was unclear how many people were taken to hospitals.
