SAN DIEGO - The attorney for a woman believed by U.S. authorities to be a daughter of Mexico's most-wanted drug lord says his client is back in Mexico after pleading guilty to an immigration charge.

Alejandrina Gisselle Guzman Salazar pleaded guilty in San Diego to one count of fraud and misuse of visas. A judge ordered her released from prison, where she has been since her October arrest.

Her attorney, Guadalupe Valencia, says authorities returned the 31-year-old woman to Mexico on Tuesday. Court records say only that she agreed to be removed from the U.S.

Guzman Salazar acknowledges that she tried to enter the U.S. at San Diego's San Ysidro port of entry on someone else's visa.

U.S. authorities say her father is Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, head of Mexico's Sinaloa cartel.
