Firefighters quickly knocked down a garage fire in Chula Vista Monday.The blaze was reported just after 2:20 p.m. at 1543 Loma Ct., and the fire was mostly extinguished within 20 minutes, according to the San Diego Fire- Rescue Department.Flames from the garage did not spread to the house, a SDFRD dispatcher said.It was not immediately known what started the fire or how much damage it caused.
