SAN DIEGO - Crews cleared a Paradise Hills intersection after a tractor-trailer truck got stuck under a traffic light Friday.
The incident happened around midnight at the intersection of Paradise Valley Road and South Woodman.
A 10News crew was there after the truck, carrying a 400,000 lbs. solar turbine tried to go through an intersection.
Officials told 10News the top of the truck hit and pushed an entire traffic signal down and across the roadway.
The California Highway Patrol was escorting the fleet of vehicles.
Exposed electrical wires on the tip of the downed pole caused some delays during the cleanup.
SDG&E were called to the scene.
As of 4:30 a.m., crews were still working to fix the damaged traffic light. The road is expected to be open at 6 a.m.
