SAN DIEGO - Investigators are looking Friday into a garage fire that lit up the sky in Southcrest and may have caused $50,000 in damages.
The blaze was reported in the 3900 block of Newton Avenue at 11:20 p.m. Thursday.
Firefighters battled the blaze for at least an hour.
The main house in the property was not damaged.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
