SAN DIEGO - A 2,000-square-foot building burned down at a senior living facility in Rancho Bernardo early Tuesday, authorities said.
The fire at Casa de la Campanas at 18655 West Bernardo Drive erupted about 12:15 a.m. and was knocked down about a half-hour later, according to a San Diego fire-rescue dispatcher.
The building was located in the swimming pool area of the facility, he said. Its use was unclear.
Authorities say no one was hurt and no residential units were damaged.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
