Crews knock down house fire in Logan Heights

SAN DIEGO - One adult was displaced when a Logan Heights-area residence caught fire early Monday, authorities said.

The noninjury fire in the 700 block of South Gregory Street was reported at 6:30 a.m. and knocked down about 15 minutes later, according to a San Diego fire-rescue dispatcher. Several 911 callers reported seeing heavy smoke
and flames from the Interstate 15 freeway, she said.

The cause was under investigation.
