Crews douse brush fire in Spring Valley
Fire erupted near SR-94, Sweetwater Springs Blvd.

SPRING VALLEY, Calif. -
Crews were able to quickly put out a brush fire that broke out near state Route 94 in the Spring Valley area.
The fire was reported at about 4:30 p.m. near SR-94 at Sweetwater Springs Blvd. Authorities believe the fire may have been sparked by a car fire.
Several homes were near the flames, but Heartland Fire & Rescue crews were able to douse the flames after nearly 30 minutes.
No injuries or structure damage was reported.
