A SigAlert was issued Tuesday morning and then canceled an hour later after a solo crash on state Route 78 in San Marcos.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of a van lost control on westbound SR-78 near San Marcos Boulevard and hit the center median causing the vehicle to roll over.One person is reported to be trapped inside the vehicle and emergency crews were able to rescue the driver.Traffic is still backed up in the area and the CHP advises to take an alternate route if one is available to you.The SigAlert was canceled at 9:07 a.m.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
