Courts, post offices, some banks closed for Columbus Day in San Diego County

Schools, city offices, libraries are open

SAN DIEGO - All courts, post offices and some banks in San Diego County will be closed Monday because of Columbus Day.

The federal holiday will not be observed by most schools, city governments and libraries, according to local city officials.

Also, parking meters will be enforced and all public buses, trolleys and trains operated by the North County Transit District and the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System are scheduled to run on their normal weekday schedules.
