Country Countdown: Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt win big

Singers Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt were the big winners at Sunday night's 2016 American Country Countdown Awards presentation at the Forum in Inglewood.

Bryan took home the top prize, Artist of the Year, along with Male Vocalist Of The Year, while Hunt gathered the Breakthrough Male Of The Year and Digital Album Of  The Year.

Country music luminaires Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line, Brooks & Dunn and Martina McBride were among those who performed during the show, based on the radio countdown show, "American Country Countdown with Kix Brooks."

The show also featured Toby Keith performing a tribute to the late Merle Haggard, introduced by Matthew McConaughey and featuring Haggard's band, The Strangers.
