SAN DIEGO - Smoke seen in the North County is from a controlled burn being conducted by U.S. Forest Service crews in the Palomar Mountain area.
Officials want residents to know the scheduled burn is not a threat to any structures or residents.
Officials did not say when the controlled burn would be completed.
